Q. Is there downtime with Pico Laser? When can I resume daily activities?

A. After Pico laser treatment, red and burning symptoms may occur for about 1-2 days. This is temporary and disappears within a few days. When removing tattoos, melasma, or age spots through Pico laser treatment, scabs may form at the treatment site for about 1 week. If scabs form, you must never forcibly remove them and should keep them well-moisturized until they fall off naturally. Showering and face washing are possible on the same day after Pico laser treatment. Gently wash with water and be careful not to forcibly remove scabs with your hands. Please avoid drinking, excessive exercise, steam rooms, and saunas for 1 week after Pico laser treatment. Also refrain from vigorous exercise that causes sweating or heat in the treatment area for 1 week.
